Bennett Bramson Puts Hot Air to Good Use
Bennett Bramson, who lives in Basalt and is a realtor and EcoBroker with Sotheby’s Realty in Aspen/Snowmass, recently volunteered to help with the 41st annual Snowmass Balloon Festival. It’s something he’s done before—this is his 14th year—and something he will do again, even though it involves rising before the sun does.
This year, Bramson was up at 5:45 a.m. each day on the Snowmass Village baseball field under a frosty full moon, putting hot air to good use. He pitched in on Saturday night for the “Evening Glow” as well. He snapped these gorgeous photos along the way.
Bramson, who is often referred to as the valley’s “uber volunteer,” worked closely with several balloon team crews to help fill, launch and land balloons, helping to make this year’s edition of the festival a rousing success.
