300 volunteers recently came together with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the Roaring Fork Conservancy to heal the burn scar in the Basalt State Wildlife Area. Volunteers, from four to 70 years old, spread seeds of native species and built dams for erosion control. Photography by RFOV staff Olivia Deihs, Ben Sherman, Lizz Bailey, and Shea Courtney
